My name is Misko Stanisic, I am a composer and pianist from Stockholm, Sweden.
I am interested to perform at your venue / festival.

Music
My music is melodic and emotional improvisational contemporary piano music.
During 2007 I recorded two albums: MAKADAM (Bologna/Italy, February 2007), and XISTERIA (Stockholm/Sweden, November 2007).

My Goal
My goal is to reach a European audience and perform live as much as possible, because my music is improvisational, and is at its best during moments of inspiration on stage, in that magic space between the audience and the piano.

Act
My act would consist of one, two or three solo piano pieces, 30, 45 or 60 minutes in duration, depending on the agreement. Necessary stage line-up: a grand piano.

Concert Review
No one is indifferent
Misko Stanisic sits at the grand piano on a stage in club Contrast. His musical suite is called Makadam. The road his fingers paint on the piano’s keyboard is sometimes wide, leading us through summer meadows, and sometimes narrow, taking us to the shores where harsh winds lash at us, causing pain. It is an emotional journey, and no one is indifferent.

Born in 1966 in Sarajevo, former Yugoslavia. Educated in classical piano. Composing, recording and performing in different music fields with bands & artists such as La Banda, Cyberfit, Eddy De Clerq, Berry Finch and Balkan Art Music. Devoted to improvisational piano music. Lives in Stockholm.
